Welcome back!

Welcome back, I hope you all had a great summer!

So what’s new in the LRC?
* We have updated our library software, Oliver, to a more efficient, internet-based version. We are still having a few issues with it, so please bear with us, it will all be worth it in the end!

* We have been adding lots of exciting new fiction to our stock, including Blood Red Road, which Mrs McGilloway read over the summer and loved. If you liked The Hunger Games and/or The Knife of Never Letting Go, you will love this too!

* Our new year 7s will soon get to choose their free book as the annual Booked Up scheme gets underway. There is a fantastic selection this year, lucky them!

* And if that’s not enough, our year 7s will also get to listen to the fantastic Philip Ardagh who will be visiting the school on Tuesday 27th September!

Please don’t hesitate to leave comments on the blog and visit us in the LRC. We would love to hear your comments and what you would like to see in the LRC.
